Baltimore International Game Developers Association Flyer
The Baltimore International Game Developers Association is the Baltimore and DC Chapters of the nonprofit organization serving the game development community. I collaborated with the president of Baltimore's IGDA to design a flyer for the organization's October meetup.
Process
I conceptualized and sketched multiple ideas for the flyer, incorporating common symbols for gaming and computers.
After choosing a design with the president of IDGA, Ryan Griffin, I proceeded to recreate the design on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
1st Iteration
The first design was unclear on why the people featured in the October Meetup were there.
To address this, I added the line, "Featuring Guest Speakers," along with the titles of the topics each guest speaker would be discussing at the meetup. Additionally, I colored the logos on the right white, with permission, for consistency.
